Huskee, what are you doing to yourself? As far as the weather goes, it's 8p & the beginning of 6 - 10". I think I'll wait to Monday to cook, all hunkered in.

I'm working all weekend, so I just get to broom my car off and drive it in each morning and night. No cooking.

A broom it 'tis M'boy with the amount of white stuff we are getting. I did the hospital thing about 15 yrs ago, 3rd shift. I used to hate to scrape ice off my car at 7:30am just to get home. I now have the Binford 4000 car snow removal tool (it's a push broom). I still have to remove ice the old fashioned way, running the car for 10 min with defrost on high, as I sit in the warmth of my apt.
In preparation for this "snow", they call it Aaron by the way, I cleaned out enough of my garage to tightly fit my truck. I have to rethink the storing of 12 bags of Kingsford & stuff & probably select my times that I will garage my vehicle. I did have to take a barrel of cherry wood out & put it on my patio covered with a blue tarp, so much for aesthetics. Wonder what the neighbors think. I already have my Weber, PBC, Smokey Joe, coal/wood wok oven, two bins & a barrel of apple wood, so what's one more item. But, the BLUE tarp sorta screams. Oh, well. And yes I will do a cook on Mon., Wed thru Sun probably not. They ( I still wonder who "they" really are ) are calling for a high of 2 on Wed, & single digits for the rest of the week. That IS my cut off for cooking outside.

Enjoy! I wish I was snowed in but I have to traverse the roads. Have they opened the roads back up your way?

Cooking a turkey today on the 26" kettle, one small chunk of plum wood. We didn't get as much snow last night as they said, but a few days ago we got a little more than they said so it evened out. I have a path cleared to all cookers. Not visible is the Yoder, PBC, and the baby Weber, all cleared out and ready for the next snowfall.

The day I got my new grill the wind was 60 MPH and mixed of rain/snow. Grilled a couple of ribeyes with the Big Joe in the kennel, a beach umbrella on top and another one pushed through the door as a wind break. Had to throw on the Carhart coat and run the lights to finish the cook! Click image for larger version

I'm on the "I-95 corridor" so the rain/snow line has been hanging out here. We got a lot of sleet so everything is coated in ice. Grilling in snow is one thing, sleet and ice I wait it out.

I won't bore you folks with pics from Colorado for a while ... it's supposed to hit 80 on Sunday. I might change my mind if I decide to fry an egg on the sidewalk, though ...

My Battle Box was to be delivered tomorrow. Delivery cancelled due to inclement weather.

            We're expecting 20 inches.

Well, in the end we got 10-12 inches. Could have been worse but still had to postpone my cooker delivery a day. But, alas, on Wednesday she arrived.

I am in fact, still here.

About halfway through an expected 6-10” of snow. My kinda smoking weather!

I wasn’t about to miss this chance. Put some beef short ribs down and using my new XR-50 for the first time!

Were really tough down here in South Texas, it is 57 degrees, sunny and no wind and were braving the brutal January weather.
May have to go to the Cayman Islands to get out of this cold weather!

            I just love football weather!

Not only are you grilling in 60 temp. There appears to be green stuff growing under the grill. No snow yet in Western Mass, but baby it's cold outside. Hovering around 10 tonight. Day time mid 20s. Can you say Suse Vide.
