Dusted up with MMD, a bit of mustard, and a spray of cooking oil.

Ok, I'll admit it, I cheated. Used the cookshack in the garage, so I didn't have to brave the back porch, but the ribs were delish and I didn't mind being able to watch the playoffs and not having to stand in our 14 - 18 inches of snow!

Dr Rok, those ribs look absolutely "terrible". Wow, I wish I was there to have some. Great job!!

So it's not a cooking pic, but I'm so happy it finally looks like winter around here I'm sharing these.

And the crew looks like it needs a little rest. They've earned it.

Thanks Rich! Got about 7.5" right now. That's 7.5" more than we had Friday night.

Okay ...pictures wont do it justice. Although it is plenty cold outside, we have mo snow on the deck so it doesn't look too bad. I woke up at 5:30 to start the smokenator and the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis was blazing in the early morning sky. Doesnt happen here very often!

I bet you have some nice ones up there. We get them occasionally, but not very often. Love seeing them!

This is what it looked like at 5 am this morning when I fired up the smoker.

The fire is started, the smoker on the right is mounted on a trailer just to give an idea of snow height.Click image for larger version

Can't compete with Stanley since the snow totally skipped us but for an inch, but here is the start of the pulled pork cook at noon

And then about 2/3 of the way through (about 8:00) with some snow coming down

Here's the back yard this morning. We got a bit over two feet, but drifts are pretty impressive in some parts of the yard. You can just see the PBC through the railing. Second pic is of the PBC chicken...the ribs vanished before I could get a pic! Didn't get a pic of the actual cook, but we've got more snow on the way so maybe for the Super Bowl...

Its a blustery day here for sure. Whole chicken going with some of Miss Candys mulberry flavor pellets. Its much nastier than it looks trust me.
