How devastating. He was a shining light on this website. His kindness, humor, love for everyone and quiet wisdom made it a joy for me to read his posts. It's hard to type through the tears. I will miss you, Mr. Bones.

This is a total shock. Being just a couple of years behind him, I'll say right now that he left us too young. Mr. Bones was a bright and shining light of the Pitmaster Club, always welcoming folks, offering a friendly word, and bringing his folksy charm to any conversation. During Yvonne's cancer, he sent me many private messages of encouragement, and both of us being Morris boys, I feel like he was a lost cousin that I hoped to meet one day.

Bonesy, you will be missed! My prayers are with your son and family, and I will burn something on a Weber kettle in your honor this weekend.

Not what I expected this AM, almost didn’t believe my eyes. Mr. Bones was always so kind to all. He will truly be missed. I pray for comfort over his loved ones. May he rest easy now. RIP sir.

This is indeed a very sad, shocking loss. Our thoughts go out to Jessie and all of Terrence’s family, including many of us who felt a little like he was family. This place won’t be the same.
