Richard Chrz thank you so much for posting that link to Mr. Bones youtube. He brings back good memories of good friends my husband and I made when he first started working oil field. A family of Appalachian Mountain folks moved to our small town to work on workover units. HARD DIRTY DANGEROUS PHYSICAL work. They took to it immediately. We spent MANY Saturday nights grilling burgers and hot dogs and listening to Mr. Bones style of music, and dancing in the back yard. Good people Mr Bones was raised by.

Like all here, I’m shocked. Can’t believe it. I enjoyed talking git-fiddles with him. A while back, I posted a photo of an acoustic guitar I painted and commented I didn’t like the way the strings came out - his reply:
“Actually, I think it's jus Beautimous!!!!
Dig deep in yer mind, an picture th strangs, movin/vibratin from bein played....
Better, now? Cause I'm Diggin it, Big time, Brother!â€
this painting sits above my desk and every time I look at it, I think of him saying "strangs"….
Aww man, what a shocker. I’m truly saddened by this. I didn’t have any private communications with him, but always enjoyed his posts and viewpoints on this site. Truly hopes he’s is able to RIP.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
to Mr. Bones It doesn’t matter what the inside our outside looks like. If you posted it, he would tell you what he liked about it in a language I don’t dare try to replicate. Love.
Panhead John The reason for that is, you were trying to "do" Mr. Bones. Like when I do an Ole & Lena joke in Norvegian. How he wrote was authentic Mr. Bones, writing just like he talked.
Bogy You’re right. I was talking to him one night and I asked him, How in the hell do you come up with that stuff? 😂 He said it just comes to him. He could say so many different things in a way that no one else could. I rolled on the floor laughing at his wit sometimes, he was definitely about the funniest person here. I’ll never forget the time he was talking about something being hard to do. He said something like, "That was harder than a 3 peckered Billy goat" I was ROFLMAO
