I'm shook bad. The shock of the century. To say we loved him and he'll be sorely missed is a profound understatement, but the best use of words I can muster right now.

So so sad. The place will never be the same but his memory will last us all from now on. Such a kind and caring man. May God rest your soul Mr. Bones.

Heartbroken. I’m likely to be in the KC area in May and meeting Bonsey in person was going to be a top priority.

I missed the opportunity. I only live a couple of hours from him and never made it a priority, in spite of sharing many sentiments and close words online. I will always regret not have made the time.

I have been here only five months but Mr Bones made an indelible impression. So shocked, so sad. My heart goes out to all his loved ones.

Oh My...I am shocked...This is a huge loss....I am deeply saddened. My condolences to his family and friends. He was way too young. I was hoping to meat him in person at an AR Meat up. Covid obviously screwed that up. Dang. I am saddened. I loved the way he Wrote with an accent. He expressed himself with complete honesty and kindness to all those who choose enter the Amazing Ribs gates, regardless of anything. All you had to do was show up no matter where you are from and he would welcome you with unconditional kindness. Of course in his own way.

I saw Mr. Bones as friendly, kind, honest, and wanted to help others to succeed. I didn’t know him well, but what I did know I highly respected. Rest In Peace.

He just turned 60 this week but boy did he packed so much humor and experiences in those years. My hat is off and my head is bowed just thinking of the large hole his passing leaves in so many lives.

Wow, what to say, I am stunned. He always brought some levity to every post with his "own way". We were just going back and forth a month ago. You were one loved individual here at AR and while you will be missed your legacy (and your way with the English language) here will go on....WWBS-What Would Bones Say...... RIP Bones!

So sorry to hear of the passing of a true Country Boy.
He didn't pretend Country he lived it.

He pretended nothing, that is a fact. He was straight up.

He was a country boy. He was also one smart son of a gun. And not just in the country way.
