Bonsey would happy to see us all coming together as a community. I have no doubt that his love for us was nothing less than the equal of our love for him.
Godspeed Mr. Bones. I'm really glad I got a chance to do some learnin along with, an from ya. Until we meet again Amigo.
Bones…man, he’d been a guiding light in the pit since I joined. One of my favorites…his comments always hit the nail on the head. His wisdom, sense of humor, and his "accent" always came through his posts!
Honestly, this is one of the biggest losses I’ve experienced of someone I didn’t actually know in person.
I ain't got words. Tryin' for hours. Maybe one day we'll make up that song, and grab that beer, and tell each other lies and fishin' stories, and make a pot 'o beans.
From the first time I posted in AR in 2017, to my last exchange with him just a short while ago, he was warm, friendly and fun. We've exchanged gifts, words, wisdom and built a modest friendship despite the 1000's of miles between us. He epitomised the non-judgemental, safe and humorous DNA of the fantastic Amazing Ribs forum. It will be an eternal regret that I didn't get to shake his hand in person. Here he is fool'n around with a funny before and after!
I hope his friends and family can take a little solice in just how well and how widely he was liked.

As everyone else has said, Mr. Bones was a genuine, funny and extremely friendly person. His loss for this group will be felt very deeply. I'll share my favorite drinking toast in his honor:
"There are good ships and wood ships, ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships, may they always be!"
