Last night I cooked pork chops for Stacy and I. Today I used the leftover bit of pork chop for scrambled eggs :-)

Brisket, then brisket point chili (the intended meal) leftovers made a breakfast hash with brisket, and a brisket ramen.

OK - sometimes things need a second comment. I was browsing through this thread again and saw this. Even though I saw it, liked it and commented the first time, I have to like it again. It is really awesome.

COSTCO (San Francisco Wharf) clam chowder, diced pork belly and peppers from the garden. Not a looker, but it was quite good and filling.

Looks good. I spun a Peruvian chicken lat weekend and made stock the next day. Soup is on deck. Haven't decided what kind yet but maybe butternut squash.

My chicken birria became chicken birria ramen. Used Sun Noodles ramen noodles which I love — have a package or two of the kaedema (extra) noodles in my freezer at all times. Some extra squeeze of lime really put it over the top. Underestimated the amount of consumme left but not complaining!

Made and had this yesterday. Leftover today. Able to compliment with the baguette I baked today.

Cheese Tortellini in a garlic butter sauce. Simple and delicious.

So the point of this wonderful prime brisket was only partially consumed right after cooking:

And so the uneaten portion was thawed from the freezer and turned into brisket point chili a week and a half later:

But we didn't quite eat all of the chili and we had some wonderful CSA peppers sitting around. Added some rice and cheese to the chili and that made amazing stuffed peppers!

After reading through this thread, I laugh at my "leftover" creation here…..but, it was a pretty good use of three different cooks

I’m hosting a tri-tip dinner before Thanksgiving and of course there is Turkey Day. I’m thinking ahead about the multiple leftover cooks.

        #73
Made turkey on Friday since closest family is going out of town next week, we've been eating turkey leftovers for days. Currently on the "turkey paninis" stage of these leftovers

Awesome! I was wondering about the pickles. I’m having a tri-tip pre-Thanksgiving dinner and a smoked turkey breast Thanksgiving dinner. My dad has to have his post turkey sandwiches. You gave me a great combo idea. Thanks.

Brisket, egg, and cheese sandwich from yesterday morning.

Brisket and cheese on a pretzel bun from the freezer for lunch for cboss and I today.

Right before I grabbed the second half of the sandwich, the late afternoon light hit it just right and this photo came out pretty well.

Thursdays turkey and homemade 🦃 stock went into Fridays turkey and noodles. I’m not sure if this is a midwest thing (usually chicken and noodles or beef and noodles)? It’s usually served over mashed potatoes or sometimes biscuits, but I prefer as is.
