Local IPA from Pearl Street Brewery, (This brewery is letting me come in to make a brewery batch of a beer of my choice, I get to choose style, and name.) I am a good customer, lol. Then they are going to distribute it through all the their bars, and then they are going to give the proceeds to a non profit I have.

          Yessire i do.. dahcopilot 😎👍

Ran my first cook on my wsm I picked up used. I really had not planned on smoking on it yesterday, just running a cook and taking some data from it But, I had some country ribs I decided to throw on it. I am impressed by the power this oven could have once you understand it's tendencies. Also not planned was shrimp and peppers. But.. I am going to run an overnight tonight on the wsm and load it up with a butt and a chuck. I think i will stick to my kettle for 90 percent of my smoking etc.. but, I am pleased so far that I have brought the WSM into my cooking options. What's a cook without some photos?

Looks great...and I think your going to love that WSM. Once you get that thing dialled in it’s a smokin’ machine. I gifted my 22” to a friend after I got my WSCG... (Still not sure how bright an idea that was. But I can still visit it. LOL)

Petite Sirah has replaced Cabernet Sauv as my favorite bold wine. And my son's name is Jaxon, spelled the same.

Alright, about to enjoy some scotch as I get ready to set up my WSM for my first overnight smoke. I sit here with only excitement that I do not have to wake up at 5 AM. Cheers! Now, what to listen too. Thinking some Gov't Mule

Thank you. I feel pretty confident it will go well. Just lit the coals, and when I have stable temp, I am shutting off my inside remote monitor, and just let it do it's thing. I find it is best to just let it cook without peaking. If I wake up and the cook went bad, oh well Still fun regardless.

I’m not a martini drinker. Well I recently dabbled. Doing a little research I found that stirring is the correct way to make them. Bond was playing a character and looking to be noticed so that’s why he insisted in Casino Royale his martini be shaken. Then too he invented the Vesper which curiously adds vodka to the gin. So if you don’t have a license to kill or you’re not a narcissist then I believe stirring is the way to go. 😜

              Never shake a martini.

Unlike 007, I stir mine don't shake them. Not that I care that much, that's just what I do.

            Good stuff 😋

              Sláinte, Brother!

              Great Pic, btw!

A very close second favorite mixed drink - Manhattans being the first. This is a Sazerac. There are Sazeracs and there are Sazeracs. I think I’ve got it down. The hint of Absinthe on the nose from a quick rinse of the glass is amazing!!

Huskee, what's the price point on the Sazerac Rye? I've kinda stopped looking at other Ryes than Rittenhouse bc I like the taste and the price seems really good. Usually about $28.

Did you order the Sazerak? I thought you could only get it in Louisiana. At least you can’t get it in Florida that I’m aware of.

JCBBQ its about the same, roughly, but it's smoother, its not 100 proof. Rittenhouse is an incredible deal.
