My son brought this home for a try.
Still in spite of the name I’m not a Scotch guy.

I love hibiscus flavored drinks! Last night I was drinking sorrel rum punch at a Trinidadian restaurant, delicious!

Dammit, I had a big tremor and spilled the whole dram of Jack. Now I am having a dram of Aberlour 16 double cask. instead, no ice.

Extremely affordable and quite good. Will stand up to bourbons costing 2-3x as much.

                Crying shame, 40,000 barrels....wow.
Jim Beam is one of the very few bourbons I don't mind taking a sip of from time to time.
The barrels being ruined is the big thing, they can make more bourbon but now there'll be a shortage of barrels to put it in.

The little taphouse I have 2 blocks away gets a lot if Russian River in. Both the Elder and the Younger, Blind Pig, Supplication. It's nice to get that stuff on tap in the neighborhood.

Good for you! Russian River does beer right. Younger comes to Los Angeles only in February (as far as I know). I have waited in line at 9:30 am to drink it at 11:00 am. Have never had Supplication but heard great things.

The only problem is he charges a lot for the Pliny.

Since I came home to Toledo/Detroit for the 4th I decided to go old school for a minute

Coors regular is one of the macro brews I have a soft spot for. I had a roommate with fridge full of it so I developed a taste for it.

Smokin a butt and a chuckie, drinkin a nice honey ale.

Hmmm. Is Melvin really big or is that kettle really small? 🤨

Sorry. This is the stupid stuff I come up with when I’m home alone 🤓

Willard That’s a 26” kettle. Melvin cans are huge and I have giant hands.

Joking...it’s a 22” kettle and my hands are only kinda big. The can’s just 12 oz though.
