These are just old Lodge camping dutches. Most of my stuff is. Some people buy cast iron and treat it poorly. Once it rusts, they give up on it and I rescue them. I have quite a few. Nothing collector worthy; just functional. I’ve helped friends restore theirs and show them how to care for them. I’d rather see them used then tossed.

Agreed. But now I find myself hanging on to pans more than I need too. snowswamp

AS some of you may know. Starting this past January, Lodge has been doing a "Legacy Series". This will feature discontinued cast iron pieces that will be produced for a limited amount of time! For now, they have brought back their fluted cake pan. These are cool pieces, not my jam, but cool pieces none the less. What I am really looking forward too is when they re-run their vintage skillets and griddles. I am hoping these will be deep throwbacks, like before they ever had the classic "tear-drop" handles, but we will see. (No chance of seeing throw back prices, though)
This will be really cool if we can pick up some vintage griddles and skillets.

As we all already are fully aware of, MCIS is quite contagious...
My neighbour asked me over th other night, purportedly to imbibe.
Well, turns out, we (I) ended up puttin a baker's rack together, to house his pan collection, after seein mine...

Here's a few pics of Matt's new rack, an his pots/pans collection:

I see you've got him started with a baby cooler also.

Or is that one that follows you around? Mr. Bones

This was an old chicken fryer pan I found at an antique store last fall. I made a quick E- tank to clean it up and gave the pan as a Christmas gift. I did however forget to take the picture after seasoning it. It came out pretty good and works flawlessly, but there is a few spots i should have gotten a bit better. Click image for larger version

Looks like a bee-yoo-tee-mous piece, least to me, brother!

But, If what I know was whiskey, it wouldn't much dampen th bottom of a thimble, an if what I thought was horsepower, why, it wouldn't drive a pissant's wagon clean round th inside track of a Cheerio!!!

Suh-weet CI, more info, please, Sir!

Where are the Diamonds made? Never heard of them before. In Duluth Mn we use to have a old forging company called Diamond tools. They made tools and noteably pitching horse shoes. The horse shoes bring big bucks these days. I have a unused pair in the box I've been offered $500 for. Don't recall them making CI pans though.
