Here is another item I made with 3D printer... bread lame; I didn't want to pay the price online (though it probably cost me 100x that if you add up all of my costs - kinda like the cost of catching a trout). Click image for larger version

I’ll chip in for one of these. Such cool stuff!

I let my sourdough starter die maybe a year ago. But as Cam Newton said recently, "I’m baaaack!"

This is my third loaf. The other two were delicious. I made some long awaited croutons which are my kids favorite. (No pictures)

But here is my third and most recent loaf!

        Stenciling is fun!! 🦃

I bet you gobbled that down.

I've had a sourdough starter over 10 years now and bake two loaves of Tartine style bread weekly. Now my daughter wants me to make a gluten free sourdough bread. I have tried three times to make a starter with Bob's Red Mill gluten free 1 to 1 flour, unsuccessfully. Any hints would be appreciated.

ID:	1131923 I haven’t made any sourdough in quite awhile. I wasn’t super successful before in the aesthetic category, but the crumb, crust, and flavor were on point. Time to get back on the horse! Going to make some up for tomorrow! Wish me luck! I’ll post my results.

My contribution to family thanksgiving gathering tomorrow. Well, the whiskey is staying here, (my dad has a better collection, drink his!). The bread is a Cranberry Walnut fully loaded recipe I am working on.

ID:	1132246 Here are the two loaves I baked up this morning! I used a different recipe this time. Looks good, but I think I will adjust to add more starter because it’s not as sour as my last one. Still good, but I like the sour punch. Click image for larger version
