Folks, with great regret we have to miss Friday night's dinner. The Carolina Hurricanes have advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs and game 2 is Friday night. My recommendations to the National Hockey League for a schedule that would accommodate me and my obligations fell on deaf ears. I'll see y'all Saturday and enjoy your evening!

The forecast chance of rain on Saturday has slowly increased over the last week. Bring appropriate outerwear in case Mother Nature rains on our event.

I watched the radar images of the last day or so, it’s the same weather that we are having here in the northeast, spiraling in place. We have been having alternating sunshine and showery rain, so figure the same. The rain is spotty, lasting 15 minutes to half an hour, same with the sun, and the last two days have been more dry and overcast than anything.
