About 30 years ago, we took our 2 sons to The Biltmore during the Christmas season. It was unbelievably beautiful. My oldest was about 10 and his only comment was "....Boy are we poor!"

Regarding the Black Swan sauces, if you haven’t tried them, they are really interesting. They are of a family, but also different; and, while they are inarguably bbq sauces, they are unlike any others. Whichever one I’m using at the time is the one I like best; then I switch, and that one becomes my favorite.

Only 3 days until people start arriving! Woo hoo!

Today I gave the Village Tavern the final count of 24 for dinner reservations. Based on my calculations, all attendees will be at the dinner. We will be seated on the covered patio and the high temperature is forecast to be around 70F Friday. It may be slightly cooler at dinner time so bring a light jacket or wrap if you think you’ll need one.
