RustyHaines here ya go. My only deviation from the recipe was I smoked the chicken instead of braising it in the broth.

      Nice!

What's in the bottom of the bowl, fried tortilla strips, cheese, avocado?

And what would you say is the spice level of the soup? My husband can do mildly spicy but not much more than that.

fzxdoc Sorry for the late response. My wife and I thought it was very mild. The anchos and poblano really didn’t add much heat. Yes, the bowl had chicken, avocado, cilantro and baked tortilla strips in the bottom.

Broccoli rice cheese, and roast chicken.

My mom used to make something like this when i was growing up. She would add some bread crumbs to the top for textural balance. This photo brings back some memories and looks wonderful!

Broke in the GMG pizza oven attachment last night with some pepperoni pies and one with leftover Texas chili as the base topped with cheddar. Came out great but didn’t have the airy outer crust of my dreams- think it was the dough recipe if anyone has suggestions for a Neapolitan style dough.

treesmacker GMG ledge with pizza oven attachment I had it set to 350 which supposedly has the stone at 700-750 (I don’t have an IR thermometer)

Yesterday, I did a pork tenderloin on the Kettle. Today, I had leftovers. What to do with pork leftover on a Tuesday? Yea, it's Taco Tuesday!

Pulled the pork. Added 4 cheese Mexican, Picante sauce and Sriracha with the pork. Heated up.in C.I pan. Then construct taco with more cheese and lettuce. In the oven at 350 for 5 minutes. Then added cowboy candy onions.

Note I omitted the Sriracha in the picture of ingredients.

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers w/ onions sautéed / fried in bacon fat! Come on!!!

Im really loving this griddle. Of course it’s not gonna help me drop the needed 50lbs…

Damn phone died about 2/3rds of the way through the cook so only partially documented. Burned the buns while chatting to a neighbor so non-toasted buns this round.

              Count me in...

My daughter only has a few more days before she heads back to school, but before she leaves she cooked up another wonderful dinner! She made a Greek Chicken Power Bowl - grilled chicken (my assist), and lots of veggies and such with some brown rice and a Greek yogurt that was so flavorful with whatever she added in! And a bit of hummus to go with.

really enjoyed this and love getting to see how she is growing into cooking for herself

              hoovarmin 😎

It was a what’s in the pantry/counter/fridge dinner tonight.

Red lentil chili with some sourdough tortillas made from discard.

Tortillas were spot on but the lentils needed some more heat as the Serrano and chipotles got a little drowned out by the tomatoes. Def need to amp up the amount of chiles next time.

SheilaAnn - I found a recipe when looking for something to do with the sourdough discard that wasn't waffles or pancakes. Flour tortillas themselves are pretty easy to make (compared with my ~50% failure rate at good corn tortillas) and these are no different. These have become a favorite of my kids.

Here is the recipe I follow except I use lard instead of butter.

IDK, sandwiches aren’t really cooking. But sometimes they are remarkable (ie, can be remarked upon). I do think that here I have finally hit maximum sandwich overload. I could only eat half of it. The orange is a Sumo. I love Sumos, but I’m only getting one box this year.

Top half is ham and cheese, bottom half is BLT. From top to bottom,

            wheat toast
            Jarlsburg cheese
            roasted red pepper
            Krakus imported ham
            avocado
            mayo
            wheat toast
            bacon
            Kumato tomato
            baby romaine
            mayo
            wheat toast
