Did a couple of Costco T-Bones for the Super Bowl and had a buddy of mine over for the game. Great game so far!

You are really taking advantage of those steaks, three times. They do look inviting😎.

Thanks Huskee ! Appreciate that. Anyone reading this, please, use a Vortex or SnS for your sear! I’ve always prided myself on grilled steaks or chops….but my game was upped by searing them over 1 of those 2 accessories. I use the Vortex mainly, but for more searing space, I used the SnS this time.

Simple fixings for the game. Nachos with some spiced up ground pork and ground beef, black olives, cheese and salsa. Took a few bites and realized I forgot the green chilies. Still good. This was my pan. Side of bacon wrapped smokies.

      +3

Do I want to do that? If so, just salt? I was poking through this subject and did not see anything definitive, at least in the first 3 pages. TIA, y’all!

I was a bit dry but tasted very good.

Too bad my Eagles did not pull off the win. I blame the refs for the bad holding call. Should have let them play.

ssandy_561 it’s pretty cool …. People can choose the parts of the salad they like and it looks fun. All credit to my wife for putting that idea together.

You must have a good pasta method. Every time I try hand rolling, it never cooperates and I apparently never learn a lesson.

I was asked by a young couple that I know a little bit, if I would prepare their meal, it was there first Valentines as a married couple. I knew whatever I was going to make, I would make what I would want for my meal. Just every element of this meal speaks to my heart. Hand rolled and cut noodles are labor intensive. I really would like an electric pasta maker, but, if I keep my access to noodles based on what I can make by hand, it keeps my addiction for pasta in check. Ha.

Andrrr I think there is likely an advantage from working with all the flour into dough, I think the work has to come into making a nice ball of dough. I think it takes more work than what we read, also, I’ve also noticed big differences in methods while scrolling through other peoples pasta thoughts. I don’t know much yet, but if I can try to answer any questions you might have, feel free to ask. However thoughts are about the extent of my knowledge,

Reminds me of lion's head meatballs! My recipe uses ground pork (belly), it I bet subbing in chicken thighs would work as well.
