      I was just thinking - it’s sad my wife isn’t a breakfast person. My very first unsupervised cook was scrambled eggs on Mother’s Day, much to the horror of my folks. I was 5 years old and surprised them. My dad ran to the kitchen to make sure I hadn’t started a fire.


    Butchered a belly for bacon. Left with spare ribs and a few trimmings for burnt ends.

    Migas tacos. Yard eggs, wild hog Canadian bacon, green onion tops from the garden, bacon grease flour tortillas, heavy cream, homemade corn tortillas, and aged smoked cheddar. One of the kiddos favorites

      Guest grilling at my daughter and son-in-law’s place yesterday, in the wind and rain! Sorry about the lack of after pics. Some carnivores came and gobbled up the ribeye. They were good though!

          shrimp and chorizo grits for the wife's mothers day breakfast and some flowers and chocolate (didnt cook the flowers or chocolate, lol). And of course the kids "helped" me with breakfast.
