WayneT Apparently you’re not quite as much the grammar expert as you’d have us believe. According to Webster’s it’s …..Good, Gooder and Gooderest. And in online forums there is no limit on elipsus, uh, elepsis, uh, oh hell! a bunch of periods following the last word……………. -

ItsAllGoneToTheCats has suggested putting together a list of all the participants we have so far. Good idea and I’ll do that in the morning and post it here. I’ll post the list of everyone participating so far according to which team they’ll be on. While it would be nice to have everyone let us know if they’d like to participate, it’s not required. You can just jump in anytime Friday morning till Tuesday night at 8 pm CDT.
I’ll be starting a brand new post Friday morning where everyone can post their pics, and I’ll have a link to it here also. Remember, we'll be giving a Trophy to the first place winner. There’s also gonna be a 2nd place prize which CandySueQ has donated for us! CaptainMike has generously offered to give $50,000 in prize money for the winner…….ðŸ¤🤣

Stick Burners Unite!!
New Stick Burner is on deck ( more to follow on that score).
Road Trip to Monroe NC, picked up a u haul trailer and the smoker on Saturday for the return trip.
I will be runnin Fish, Chuck Roasts, Ribs and Chicken Thighs next weekend.
Will need to fire it up on Monday to cook some chicken and see how she ("Delilah") works!

CaptainMike was originally going to start the official Smackdown post this Friday, but had to bow out. This weekend is his wedding anniversary and has plans with his much younger and more attractive wife Collette. Happy Anniversary my friend! I’ll be starting the festivities off in his place. Just remember to start posting your cooking pics this Friday morning and throughout Labor Day weekend. As mentioned, everyone can have until 8 pm CDT Tuesday to post your pics. Allon its one continuous compartment, with multiple doors. Not 4 compartments The thermometers are all just below the upper grate in a continuous cooking chamber. It gives you a ballpark of the temp from 1/4 the way from each end, and right in the middle of the offset.
I've cooked on something like that before, and you need super long grill tools, almost a shovel to move butts around. -

Panhead John I've heard it a half dozen times or so in person at JT concerts from 1979 to last time about 10 years ago. Main difference has been the amount of hair JT sports! He always puts on a great show. The recording I am listening to today is from 1969. Well, the vinyl is probably mid 70's.
