I am inadequate! Beautiful photos of well cooked food! I'm in the grip of a summer head cold, so any cooking (except for chicken soup) would be wasted.

Great day on the gasser. Not gonna lie, it was kind nice to not have to smoke stuff all day. Brats, kielbasa and dogs. I also did some lamb chops as well.

Hmmm. I need to flip my CI grates over on the Weber looks like, so that I can use the flat rather than pointy side of the rails, now that I see how it is done...

You’ve seen me do this a lot! Brats with onions. Not my normal place to get them and they s*cked. They were gristly and bland. Not even the beer-onion bath helped. Onions were amazing as I did them on the grill this time. So basically I had an onion and mustard sandwich with the infamous pea salad.

At least you didn't call us rock stars. I understand that's frowned upon these days.

Sorry for delay. Two dogs with cheese, onions, banana peppers, slaw and chili, and potatoe salad made by my sister. Click image for larger version

Grilled Rippers, kraut, mustard…on squishy white bread because that's all we had. Beans on the side. Nothing to look at but tasted good.

Cooked some hot dogs for the 4th but didn't get any photos.

Had an awkward layover at ORD so I ended up with a round 2 of both, obviously not cooked by me.

Burgers and dogs aside, those were some amazing crinkle fries.

On the 5th some good friends from out of state came to visit. I’m always sending food-porn pics to him, and he even went and bought a Blackstone himself.

He and his wife haven’t actually got around to using it yet, so they wanted to see it in action. Thus smash burger lessons ensued…and I didn’t get my usual assortment of photos.

All I’ve got are are these two…
Two chuckies and an action shot of them coming out of my grinder!
