Great looking cook! Did you shuffle the butts to get them all as barky as # 3?

Storage of butt? If it was mine, I'd:
Let it cool down considerable, then put it in the fridge, whole.
Reheat whole butt in a disposable alum pan, foiled.
    Oven, cooker, it don't matter.
Low heat, up to how hot you wanna eat it.
    Easy, Peasy...

I'm sure others have their favourite methods, and I'm standing by for enlightenment, in case I been doin't it wrong!

Glad yer cook come out so well, and thanks for making us a part of it, and sharing!

I did not rotate them at all. They all ended up similarly, but the far right certainly had more bark than the rest. But to be honest, it wasn't far and away more...

When I have a whole extra butt left, my preference is to go ahead and shred it and store meal-sized portions in zip lock bags for freezing. I love pulled pork during the summer when I do most of my smoking, but it's like pulling an ace out of your sleeve to be able to enjoy it from the freezer during the dead of winter.

First, that is a great looking cook. Awesome.

Second, as to the left over pork butt. If you are going to eat it soon, do this. Store whole in the fridge, wrapped in foil and plastic. Then, on the day you will eat it, put it in a crockpot with the juices from inside the foil, a bit of apple cider and some extra rub. Heat on low until it hits 145 internal and then pull it.

if you are not going to eat it for a while, I would heat it up, pull it, and store it in meal sized portions.

Great looking cook! Congrats! When I portion out a cold butt to freeze, I have not reheated. I cut into chunks, put in a ziplock and smash it as flat as I can to make it easier to reheat from frozen, then squish out the air and seal the bag. The flat bags stack nicely in the freezer.

Thanks for the advice and the support! My plan, after reading the other comments, is to heat it up tomorrow night, shred it, and parse it out. (I may have to have a sandwich tomorrow though). Then freeze the remainder.
