I made ssandy_561's Bacon Wrapped Chicken Burnt Ends, they were really tasty (my wife LOVED them!) I used Meat Church The Gospel for the rub, and Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle for the bath base.
My wife made her homemade pretzels - always a Super Bowl staple. The problem is literally that they are SO good you have to be careful - you'll want two, and then you'll be so full you can't eat anything else! We had Alstertor Dusseldorf mustard for them too, which was amazing.
Wife also made BLT Deviled Eggs (homemade bacon, chopped grape tomatoes and fresh basil), which I absolutely crushed, and a 7 layer taco dip per the daughters' request. The mutt feasted on anything and everything that hit the floor.

I was making stuffed garlic knots but they blew out.
Then I made a cake but it ended up lopsided.
And when I went to light the candles on the cake they all fizzled.
So then I cooked a loin, but one side was well-done and the other side was raw.
Help me out here- how was the food, er the game for you?

Wanted KC to win. Tired of Brady. He’s a good guy and all, just tired of him. As usual, it’s sucks being an NFL fan in Houston. Not one of my teams I rooted for made it. #1 was New Orleans, then I wanted Cleveland, then Buffalo. I have "Wait till next year" ingrained in my head for 40 years. Except when Dallas was winning Super Bowls.

Sorry, I wasn't intending to gloat. There's only one thing worse than a bad loser and that's a bad winner. I'm not a fan of either team or their people; just wanted to see a good game. Mahomes was little erratic at first plus his receivers kept dropping the ball. Even Kelce dropped a pass!

No apology needed! I didn’t even think about it as gloating at all. I’m just a frustrated NFL fan, whose hometown team needs a new owner. I didn’t care that much about who won either, really.

About me
Real name: Aaron

Occupation:- Healthcare- Licensed & Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at MyMichigan Health, a University of Michigan Health System.
No pics so it might not have happened, but I made oven wings with my favorite Ceasar+Franks dipping sauce (just wasn't feeling going out in the 4F & dropping temps for grilled wings). Wife made spinach artichoke dip, and I picked up some KFC tenders, popcorn chicken, and biscuits. Delicious finger foods with minimal effort.
Kids were allowed to eat in the living room and we watched the game while I tried my best to explain things about football to them like what downs are and what 2nd & goal means, etc. I rooted for the Bucs since my aunt (who just recently passed away) & uncle live in Tampa. Was pleased to see the Bucs do so well, their defense was kick butt, I actually felt really bad for the Chiefs trying so hard and getting nothing. Otherwise as you may know I am not really a sports person, I'd usually rather watch a concert than a game.
Normally I work every Sunday night, so this was a rare treat to be home and enjoy family life at our own SB Party.

Current line-up of cookers: Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Pro, Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050, Blackstone ProSeries 4 Burner 36" griddle, Weber Performer Deluxe and Weber Smokey Joe.
Vortex chicken wings on the 26". Used Hardcore Carnivore pork and chicken rub, glazed with Blues Hog Smokey Mountain at the end. The Vortex is a new toy that I got a few days ago, so this was its maiden voyage. Yesterday I learned the Weber dome thermometer can get so hot that the needle passes Go, collects $200 and reads 125°.
Unfortunately, none of the above happened, since I didn't have time to take pics.
Edit: Here ya go, Panhead John. Turns out one of the jealous neighbors secretly took a pic while I ran inside to get something and wasn't paying attention. He tried to pass it off as his own work on some site I had never heard of.
