Wasn’t sure that the OG would be cost- and time-effective in the cold, so I used the old Weber gasser with pellets on the GrillGrates for wings burgers and dogs

SheilaAnn I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post the bite pics but I was so happy with the "bite through skin" and the not quite "fall off the bone" rib texture. Thanks!

I just had the worst steak I’ve had in years. And I can’t believe it! It looked so good and it was a choice ribeye from Costco, which has never disappointed me before. Ribeyes are one of the most tender cuts of meat. I’ve cooked probably over 1,000 steaks in my life and this was one of the worst. It had to be the cow, I didn’t cook it any different than usual. Usual seasonings, kosher salt and pepper. Reverse sear. It was tough as hell and chewy. I didn’t even finish it, which is rare for me. Looking at the pics, it’s hard to believe. Anyway, taters were good.

I think the cow worked out too much or was on a keto diet. That was one of the least marbled ribeyes I’ve ever seen. Was it grass fed?

Have no idea if it was grass fed. It was one out of a 3 pack of ribeyes I got at Costco. I’ve been getting my steaks from Costco for 5 years probably. I have never been disappointed in one of their steaks before. I’ve gotten choice vs prime probably 80% of the time.

Here's the wings... brined, lightly rubbed with "tsunami spin", and finished with a Dr. Pepper sauce glaze. Nice and sticky!

Dr. Pepper Glaze? Just reduced down Dr. Pepper or does it contain more?

ssandy_561 I used the recipe that @Henrick has on his BBQ site - I've had it on ribs, per his instructions, as well and it is good on both.
This is a real American version of traditional pork ribs where we make a sweet and tasty glaze using Dr Pepper.

I used the one from Andrew zimmern.

Baltimore-style Country Club Crab Cakes By Andrew Zimmern This is my favorite crab cake recipe. If you don’t overmix, and don’t pack your mounds too tightly, you will experience pure, unadulterated crab cake heaven. It’s a true Baltimore-style country club crab cake, without filler ingredients. I make these in double batches and put the leftovers…  Read More →

I changed two things. I used whole grain mustard because I love whole grain mustard. And panko because I did not have oyster crackers.

This is the 3rd time I have used the recipe. It’s a keeper!
