Took a few minutes to reorganize my cast iron and other pans. I have since added my Thermoworks Smoke, Signals, and Smoke X4 over on the left. Love that those have magnets on them.

Hunkered down, and doing everything we can for those directly in the 'line of fire', and truly grateful.

Man cave has been converted to 'office central' and the pool table is now a stand up desk and paperwork repository, but I'm at home with a great fam, a stocked fridge and some killer tunes!

What a great thread. Many, many thanks to everyone here that contributes to this awesome community (and thanks, I guess?, for turning my BBQ diversion into a full blown obsession!)

Thanks Mr. Bones , banjo is something I'm just now getting into, after many years of slinging 6 strings. Music has been very good to me.

And Dewesq55 that was a great observation, but, alas, no southpaw here, just a mirror image pic somehow!

ofelles, Sweet Ride! It's a shame, practically giving gas away, and can't go anywhere. We've thought about going to our lake house, we can do our work from either home office, but afraid to go 2 hours away. If we would have to stay in place the freezer and pantry packed with food is here. Bought my wife a Ford Edge a couple of weeks ago, but when she does get to drive it I don't let her leave the car.

Of all things my wife had a hankerin fer smash burgers. These days for more reasons than one, I obliged. So, the two of us, Derby & Yers Truly went to work. Yup! Normally I do em fer a gang but not whilst under house arrest. They did let us go out side to cook but the shackle are hidden. Click image for larger version

Smash burgers for lunch here also. Both my wife and I are still working. She is HR at the local Wal-mart, and I run a lumber yard. Construction still allowed in our state. So we are not "trapped" at home as many are, but straight home after work. I have been craving a good burger, so I had the griddle hot when she got home today for lunch. We had a "drive by" wedding shower today here in Alabama, for my daughter. We all stayed 6 feet away from each other, had masks on when folks drove up to leave their gifts, took photos of them in their cars in a frame the wife made, and talked from 10-15 feet away. Most family but a few close friends came by, dropped their gifts on the table by the street or popped the trunk to have us take it out.

Fun times to be having a wedding!

Yesterday Kroger had buy 1 get 1 free chuck roasts. I bought 2 (saved $18) and ground all of it. This is what it yielded:
4 burgers with a little bacon in them for dinner last night. This is what I vac-sealed: 4 additional burgers, a pound of meat for coney sauce, a pound for tacos, a pound for sloppy Joe's and 2 pounds for weeknight chili.

After changing to summer tires yesterday
        time for a clean up
Wash, clean rims and tires, some tire shine
Estimate a 9-12 gain in horse power
Cardinal rule clean shiny things = horse power

ofelles No, Pontiac G8 Base V6. It's a really nice car, I can still get in as much trouble as a V8.
Just takes me a few seconds more.....
GTO was the model before the G8 which became the Chevrolet SS.
It's all over now as GM closed the Holden line in Australia and canned the whole shebang.
          Dorks!!!!

I remember when that model was released. It was only a year or two before Pontiac went under.
"Car and Driver" dubbed it as: "Finally Pontiac builds the BMW it has always wanted to build."

JeffJ If you remember the Pontiac G8 was a re-badged Holden Commodore imported from Oz.
I'm a GM guy, always will be, but it seems GM loved buying car makers taking they're best technologies then blowing them up.
Again one of the things GM does that gets my goat.
But I do love this car, now if I could fit a 22" Weber in somewhere and smoke while driving....I'd marry her.....
