The list of foods I don't like is fairly small but one things gets me lots of comments - coffee. Don't like the taste or smell. I come by it honestly, my father and sister also don't like it. My mother was happy when I got married and she had a fellow caffeine addict in the the family.

Liver, deer, antelope, elk and most any hot tea. I love iced tea and keep trying to like hot tea but I just can't get there.

Raw Tomato. Every few years I try again. It's stupid because I like cooked tomatoes, and all manner of prepared versions. In limited cases I can take them chopped and added into something, but by and large I can't stand the flavor of raw tomato. My wife just can't understand it.

Tuna from the can, no matter what you put with it or what you put it in is absolutely disgusting.

Man I love that stuff right into a salad. Then on top hotsauce, evoo and salt. Albacore solid only.

If beverages count, I'm going with sweet tea. I grew up hating tea because sweet was the only way everybody I knew drank it. To this day I can't do it. Love unsweetened, though.

Growing up we kids learned quick to like and eat anything that appeared on our plates even if it was souse meat or chitterling loaf, so basically I will eat anything. However as an adult I can’t bring myself to eat veal anymore, and firmly believe that whomever created sweet potato fries should be removed from civilized society.

Liver was the only meal that my mom cooked that I was allowed to pass up. It made me sick. Other than that, if I didn't like it, I got to sit there until I did like it! :-D

I had fried sweet potatoes at a Korean restaurant and they were amazing, but they're nothing like the usual sweet potatoes as a stand-in for french fries. They're battered and I understand Korean sweet potatoes are different than American (sweeter and firmer). I've never had anything that came close. I have friends who were in the Army stationed in Korea and they said there are carts all over Seoul selling them. They all love them.

Celery. I want to like it because it seems to be a popular accompaniment to hot wings (one of my favorite foods), but the taste makes me want to gag.

For me it would be beets, any kind of pepper, olives or raw fish. Those are just not on my menu.

I would also like to add Lutefisk. What list of this type would be complete with out this terrible culinary creation?

My great grandmother was immigrant Swedish. According to my dad, she kept a dried cod behind her kitchen wood stove to turn into lutefisk or add to other dishes she was cooking. He talks about her shaving off pieces of that dried fish with a knife. He hated the stuff, but was otherwise a good eater, so I gather it was pretty awful to eat.

My wife is Norsky and her family gets together once a year for the stuff. What an awful thing to do to perfectly good cod.

I'll eat just about anything, but one think I really detest is peanut butter. Ate in a nice Greek restaurant once and quickly learned grape leaves were awful. And Licorice (anise, etc.).

I don't like licorice itself, but love the anise-y flavor of other things (fennel, star anise, thai basil, etc)

For whatever reason, fennel is an exception. Love Fennel.
