    Leftover Beef Ribs Recipes Wanted

Hey guys, I’ve got 2 big bones of beef ribs leftover from yesterday and I’d like any ideas you might have. Rather than eat them off the bone again, I’d like to pull the meat and mix it with something or just try it a new way, just for a little variety. I have no idea what I’m looking for... exactly. Any recipes y’all have done would be appreciated. Tacos maybe? Thanks

Hash. Cube them up, add potatoes, onion, green or hatch peppers. And whatever else you have, like pineapple or kale . I make hash a lot with leftover brisket.

You had me at kale. 😂 Seriously though, hash does sound good.

        +1 on the hash

Pull off the bone, chop it up, warm it with a little bbq sauce. Then on a toasted bun with a slice of cheddar melted on top. Yum.

+1 on this. Extra points for a garlic roll!

We put some of leftover Beef ribs into beef enchiladas. After that there was still a bit left over so I put it into a lunch omelette the next day.

Whatever you do, save those bones and turn them into stock

I keep all my bones and veggie trimmings. Freeze ‘em all and when I have enough, do a big pot of stock

Awwww, c’mon! Mixing ‘em into a big batch of beets is just so obvious.

Chop it fine, toss in a blender with a banana, dill pickle, a handful of corn chips, 1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt (I use non-fat), and a double shot of Fernet. Blend until smooth, serve neat or over crushed ice in a rye flour-rimmed Mason jar. Or hash or tacos.

Thanks Capn! That sounds much better than Willy s idea! I swear, the recipes some of y’all come up with. It’s no wonder we’re in The Library of Congress!

Panhead John I had some firehouse lads that would be mixing this right now and chugging it just for the laughs! There were only 2 times in my career that I ever gave a direct order and one was to stop one of my knuckleheads from eating on a dare some clam chowder that had been sitting in the back of a fridge for-who-knows-how-long. I had developed a look that could freeze water and I used it to scare the shit out of him. He still brings that up now and then.

          Only one way to go.

          CHEESESTEAK

Sautéed onions, jalapeños and lots of cheese.

          Damn I’m hungry now.

I would never put such a cheap and disgusting piece of meat in my vaunted clam chowder! It deserves much better.

          1. Chili
          2. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas or burritos.
          3. Nachos
          4. Smoked beef stew
          5. Grilled cheese and smoked beef sandwich
5a. Modified Cubanos (cuban sandwich) with cooked or shredded beef instead of pulled pork.
          6. Beef noodle soup

How about throwing it into a stroganoff type dish? Bet that bark would meld right into the sauce.

Everyone pretty much covered what I would do, except you can make egg rolls too. My pulled pork egg roll recipe is just as good using brisket or beef ribs.
