Neat. I'd like that. I never heard of breasting out birds (except blackbirds) until I moved to Texas.

That's a dead deer @ 40 yds. Longest shot from my blind is 27 yards, but I also stillhunt a lot so. I'll eventually get around to checking my 50 pin, but no time right now.

No, the peparoni nor cheese were wild game, gathered, grown, or from scratch. Everything else was. Scratch made dough, sauce with tomatoes from the farm, and Italian sausage made from feral hog.

Marinara made with tomatoes, onions, garlic, and basil from the farm, and feral hog italian sausage over rotini. Not pictured were sourdough breadsticks.

I'll be up in a tree in the morning.

Saddle, kneepads, Ozonics (yet to have a deer blow at me using this), crossbow.

I quit using scent control years ago. Now I just play the wind. Still use skunk scent or maybe doe estrus if hunting from a stand as a cover. What are the knee pads for?

The wind is the first thing I check. It's for, "oh crap, something is down wind." Public land is a hoot. If you are up against the tree in the saddle, which is supremely comfortable BTW, your knees are rubbing against the tree.

I was SUPPOSED to go this morning, but my insomnia got me. Remember staring at the clock and it reading 0113. Then the 0415 alarm went off. Got up, stubbed my toe on the clothing steamer my wife left out in the bedroom, spilt hot coffee on my thumb, then stepped in a cat hairball barefoot. I took it as a sign and went back to bed. I tried last Saturday after 45 minutes of sleeping in my truck.....decided to just drive home and slept until 1230pm instead of climbing a tree. Working until 210am has its challenges. I need a blind for sleepy sleepy mornings.

I'll try in the morning. This morning was a no go. I got a Diamonf-D chest holster for my M2.0, goodness where has this thing been all my life. I'll have the Romeo-X Pro holographic on this week. The CORE slide breaks up the monotony of the brown(s).

I have a 3 diamond d chest holsters. One for each of my bigger revolvers. Adsolute best I have ever used. I have one loaded out with my .357 mag right now in my truck with my bow pack, right now. It's what I carry during bow season.

I almost picked up a tactical light like that this week…Harbor Freight has them for $50. I like the dual color on that piece!

Here's my IWB CC piece. I would have gone with a Leupold Delta Point Pro, but it doesnt cowitness, the Holosun does. Gonna port it soon. That's the new Shadow Systems CR920XL.

I'm not that concerned about cowitnessing since my eyes aren't into the open sights. They do line up with the laser on the wall, and this slide specifically comes with raised sites for cowitnessing.

I am saddened with the facts that it appears health issues will keep me from being afield this goose/deer season. I will be living vicariously thru these posts and my buddies texts.

texastweeter I’m afraid I’ve gone over to the other side. I keep Pillsbury Grands biscuits in the fridge at all times now. I like the buttermilk ones. I’m not even ashamed anymore.
