Taco Tuesday. Spinaker your carnitas recipe has to be tied with my breakfast sausage as my all time favorite feral hog recipe. Served with cilantro lime rice.

Just got her back from the engraver....had to share. Now to decide if I want to gold fill the hammer and trigger, or jewel it. Probably put a rough country rear sight on it and a brass partrage blade up front too. Action and timing are slicked up, trigger job, forcing cone barrel and cylinders trued up as well.

I'm just psyched up I could get my Lifetime tags since technically you are not presently purchasing anything. So they showed a $0.00 transaction to calm my nerves.

Oak Smoke yes it is a Stoger Uplandar that my father used to use. He now uses his father's 1963 Remington 1100. My wife swings a 1963 Browning Auto 5 in 20 gauge. I'm looking for a LaFever or Fox SxS in 12 for me so I can retire this one. Also on the prowl for a vintage American made gas recoil 20 gauge for Emma. If I take my time, deals are still available.

texastweeter I’ve had and traded so many good side by sides. I had a nice LC Smith 12 that an old friends dad was looking at one night. He kept saying how it was just like the one he had as a young man. I gave it to him. About 6 months later his son called to say his dad had sent me a gift. Adam it was a pristine side by side Fox 410. Beaver tail for end, gorgeous wood, single trigger, a very rare gun. I still have it!

For real. I get bummed out sometimes, then remember the national average is 7-9 shots for every bird harvested.

texastweeter no kidding! That may be the only thing I’m still above average in. I can usually pull off a bird for every 3 shots. I do used a skeet choke and 8 shot to help me though.

Too my youngest boy out bird hunting with me this afternoon. Best shooting i have done it a while. 19 shots 12 birds. We had a blast. We watched for birds, picked some persimmon to snack on, and discussed things only a 9 year old would ever think about. Lot of fun.

Made 2 gallons of homemade marinera sauce the other day. Just finished making 3lbs of Italian sausage from a feral hog leg. Tomorrow...crockpot lasagna.

Split each side and lay in a slice of jalapeño, wrap in thin sliced bacon, grill with a light coat of bbq sauce near the end. A shoe sole would be good this way.
