This all looks so good, you need to start your own recipe section on the forum.

Any suggestions for a bison chuck roast? Looking for something a little different than a pot roast or smoking like a brisket. Its not very big, about 2 - 2 1/2 lbs.

Uh yeah! Made it with some fried channel cat a few ago. Best I've ever had! Will be my go to from now on as long as I have time or foresight to make it. I added some minced habanerros to 1/2 the batch for mine (you know I like hot). Much obliged sir! Oak Smoke

Slept in till 0900 this morning. Used my last pound of venison breakfast sausage to make a batch of sausage balls. Usually I make them smaller, but the kids wanted to have them big enough to split and add jelly to. Speaking of, that is on the to do list, make a batch of dewberr jam and a batch of dewberry jelly (kids now have braces, and the seeds stick in them) with yesterday's forage.

Is pike the predominant freshwater species you fish for in your neck of the woods? Is that a topographic map of ocean flooring?

What size Brown Trout do you usually catch? Just curious if they are much different from ours in U.S.

Elton's BBQ There is a large difference from your country to ours. The states in which I have done most of my trout fishing the records for Browns are: Colorado 30.5 lbs, Wyoming 25.8 lbs, and New Mexico 20 lbs. Tight lines!!

Clark - check out this video - a friend of mine I’ve known for 20+ years is a guide here on the San Juan River in New Mexico. One of his recent trips resulted in this

barelfly There isn't anything better than a day on the San Juan, doing 'the shuffle.' We used to have a place in Pagosa Springs and I really miss that whole area. Used to catch some nice ones in the Rio Grande between Creede and South Fork.

Took a break from the manual labor after church today to do some catfishing at the ranch. Quite successful.

Spent the day scouting dove, catfishing, and detecting on the back acreage of the ranch. Kids snacked on wild plums. Not enough of them ripe yet to freeze or jam, but getting close.
