One of these might help 'till Christmas. You can add a brick or two to reduce radiant heat.

Never seen those before. I don't know what you mean about adding a brick though. Where? In the basket?

The curved side goes against the kettle, and the bricks go next to the flat side. That helps direct the heat up instead of under your meat.

I have a couple of the Weber charcoal baskets that I have never used (I have 3 SnS). I'd be glad to ship them to you JPGators17 to hold you over until Christmas. I'd just need to find a box. If you want them pm your address to me.
