    For Fall this year

Quote Michael_in_TX ,"Pumpkin-spice chicken fried steak. Yall, know you want to do it. "

Got me thinking, how about Pumpkin Spice something for a month this fall?

I was gifted Kinder BBQ Pumpkin Spice Rub and would like to use it in a meaningful way.

    Thank you

baking spices used in pies and cookies like my ancestors have been doing for hundreds of years. Yes. Calling baking spices anything else? No. :-)

The heat is seriously taking its toll.

No No No, Pumpkin spice has nice warm-earthy flavors, not heat. 😜

If I heard this correctly, over one thousand have died in Europe from the current heat wave. It is elitist to have AC.

I'm not sure what yours is, but I'll bet real money that it happened while you were driving.

I have obviously been mistaken. I had erroneously assumed that "pumpkin spice" was on the list of banned words/topics, like covid and politics. Mods are not doing their job.

Use it to smoke a chicken, then make pot pie with the chicken.

Crap! That actually sounds like it could be pretty good.

Sounds like a perfectly good waste of some chicken.

Why not use just real pumpkin, like my mom used to do for her Pumpkin pies? Although it may be difficult to sprinkle a pie into coffee. Or on a pork shoulder.

Our phone room here brews "seasonal coffees" with pumpkin spice being one of those. I grind my coffee daily and make it myself at my desk. There's a reason why.

          I'm no help.

what is now called "Pumpkin Spice" is really the typical English baking spices .... Starbucks managed to convince us all to call it "Pumpkin Spice", which I hate and won't do. Yes, I'm a curmudgeon
