I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
I have to say it sounds like the doc knows you well. I mean, it wouldn't be appropriate to reassure anyone but a "FireMan" by saying not worry, because we can burn those things out. In the bladder! I think I'd run out of there right after hearing that.
But seriously, hang in there and I'll add to those reminding you that we are all here pulling for you.
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
I lost one kidney to cancer 16 years ago, and I have a cyst in the other that’s been watched for the last 16 years. You learn to live with the sword dangling over your head.

Fireman, I'm only gonna say this onect, so pay attention. It's a secret, so everybody else stop readin'. The secret to a long life is to never stop movin'. If you stop movin', yer a goner for sure. We love ya man, and we need you to keep movin' & grovin'. You got this! ❤️ 👍
I'd like to give ya a big hug, FireMan. Thanks for sharing your troubles with the group.
My other half has been going through something similar over the past several months, so I think I have a bit of a clue about what you're dealing with right now. Even though the statistics might be encouraging and even though treatment might go really well, the uncertainty of the situation takes a lot out of a person.
I read a story about a guy who would answer illness-related questions from friends, coworkers, and family only on Mondays. Ask him anything about his illness and you'll get an answer ... but only on Mondays. The rest of the week they were to treat him like normal, so he didn't always have to fend off well-meaning conversations that bummed him out.
I told this story to my spouse and he thought it was a capital idea. I think he's got us pretty well trained by now.
Here I am 10 months later & still fightin this pesty situation. Just went through my third search & burn procedure. The catheter is a real drag. I am still looking for a solution for the deterrence of this cancer. I have found some general sound prescriptions for dietary & I have been ok with it, although not strict & I am getting no results. Back to the drawing board & quit foolin around. I know the results & it was once again caught early. We/I shall see the latest plan of attack this weekend.

Gosh, brother, I missed this whole thread and had no idea. Man, I'm so sorry you have to go through it. I do believe, however, that your doctors will beat this thing. Thanks for updating the thread so I can know to be praying for you.

I had been thinking about you FM, wondering the status on this situation... I'm very sorry the news isn't better yet. Keeping that karma generator on maximum warp on your behalf!
