I forgot to mention earlier that I cannot stand artichokes. Would rather eat a pine cone.

If you mix your pine cone with Mac and cheese I bet you’d like it.

Panhead John I'll PM you and tell you what you can do with your mac and cheese.

I already replied to others agreeing with bananas and canned tuna. Not meant for consumption. I also won’t eat ketchup or catsup unless I have to choke down a bad hot dog someone made and I’m being polite. 🤮

I saw the question, and nothing came to mind that I can't eat. So I read the entire thread to get some ideas. Some of y'all are weird. Pass me your untouched leftovers, please. My list is still empty.

I once worked with a woman who had an eating disorder where she would only eat bread, plain hamburger patties, and plain french fries. That's it. Ever. A group of us were at lunch and somebody asked her why not try some other foods. She pointed to my salad and said, "To me that's not food. I mean, you don't eat dirt because it's not food to you, right?" I responded, "I'll eat a pound of dirt if you eat a pound of salad." I would have done it, but there was never really any chance she would take me up on it.

Having trouble thinking of anything, but I haven’t tried lutefisk yet. There are a few things I just don’t prefer, but...just not that picky. Given my avoirdupois maybe I should be.🤣

There's coffee - and then there's COFFEE. The very best cup of coffee I've ever had was at the Café du Monde in New Orleans (in the French Quarter). And coupled with a Beignets (ben-yay) order, you have a meal straight from Heaven. 😎

Just curious since I know a few folks like this... do you like the smell of it though? 'Cause I have a few friends who hate coffee but brew a cup every morning because they like the smell in the house in the morning.

The smell doesn't bother me, just the taste.

I'll eat almost anything, though years ago when I was still in Chicago I worked next to a small Mexican restaurant.
Over the course of the summer I tried everything on the menu, the last thing I tried was Menudo...
I could not get past the first bite. Tripe and I just don't get along.

tripe soup, tripe is the stomach lining from a cow, or steer.
                  tastes like a barnyard smells!

Peach flavored things. I'm good with actual peaches but "peach flavored" kills me. Peach tea, peach schnapps, etc. The sugar peach rings can get a pass if you eat them fast enough and just taste the sugary coating lol.

Coconut. Texture gets me first and foremost. But then the flavor does nothing for me. Just makes me think I'm eating something that has sunscreen in it. And coconut water.... just tastes like water that was poured over the hairy dirty outside of a coconut.

And liquorish/anise. Just a big no for me. No anise, no black liquorish, no sambuca, no ouzo. And I assume no absinthe (never had it though.)

Licorice/Anise is on the short list of things I detest, but I do like fennel, which is a somewhat similar taste.

I know this will make me an outlier: Peanut Butter

Pumpkin is not food. It is a trick the Native Americans played on the invading Europeans. Gags me.
