I think this is just a nuisance lawsuit that the idiot hopes the company will settle rather than pay to go to trial. I hope they take it to trial, and then counter sue for damages.

I have heard that McDs never settles this type of suit just so that lawyers will realize it's a waste of time 'cause 1/3 of nothin' ain't worth the effort.

Agreed. Don't settle. Too many companies settle which only incentivizes this kind of garbage.

I hope they let it go to trial, where it will get thrown out. I've used a lot of Texas Pete hot sauce over the years, making buffalo wings and such. My preferred sauce for that is Frank's these days, but nothing wrong with Texas Pete. Knowing the story behind its depression era origins, I'll be more likely to buy it in the future, rather than less!

Buffalo don’t have wings. And you’re not from Buffalo. I smell a class action suit.

I just happened to run into this. My dog is allergic to chicken.

ItsAllGoneToTheDogs That's probably a good indicator that they are not well tolerated by their bodies.

Attjack it's more the portion size, we have to pay close attention and then take them away 1/4 at a time. Remember mine all weigh between 11 and 13 lbs and those chomps only come in a size meant for yours

We all Love our fur kids don’t we.
We had a black & white border collie 15 years, we lost her to a heart murmur Labor Day weekend 2021 and she was my frisbee girl. She enjoyed playing frisbee non-stop.
Our dogs are like our children and when we lose them it SUCKS bad!

I saaw a story some time ago about a man who goes around to different small businesses who are not up to code with the American Disabilities Act. He even carries a tape measure with him, and if something is off by the slightest bit, he will file a lawsuit. That'sw how he makes a living.

Argh. I can't like this, as it makes me mad that some folks have nothing better to do with their lives.

There is a guy that does this with environmental lawsuits here in the valley. He tried to get a chicken farm shutdown due to the waste the chickens produce calling it industrial pollution or something like that.

I guess I have a case against Fire Department Coffee, since I'm sure it wasn't actually made at the Fire Department.

I remember a guy in the greater Chattanooga area sued Popeyes Chicken for emotional distress because he could never buy their chicken sandwich since they were always sold out.

We got all sorts of authentic Texas stuff here in the GTA.
Apparently, we can't do anything good ourselve's so we emulate the Lone Star State for the sake of higher sales and recognition.
That's not a shot at Texas, far from it.

I am sure they are gonna throw this out. So ridiculous. Getting so sick and tired of this crap. Hopefully the judge charges this clown with waisting the courts' time.

That is what it will take to stop this nonsense: A judge with intestinal fortitude and charge those initiating frivolous lawsuits with all court and lawyer fees.

I've often said that a looser pay's system is the best way to put a stop to frivolous lawsuits.

If it's truly frivolous, it will go down quickly on a motion to dismiss, and the prevailing side can move for sanctions. Most plaintiffs' attorneys are smart enough not to bring a suit that is frivolous, and they have little incentive to do so, as most work on a contingency basis, and need to win to get paid.
