    My brother in law hosted our third annual Anniversary dinner. Over 100 years of married life sitting at that table! He bought and prepared tomahawk rib-eyes that were almost 3" thick. His method is to drill a hole in the bones, hang them in the pit barrel till about 120 degrees, then sear them on his charcoal grill. Best steaks I have ever eaten and perfect medium rare all the way through. He is the master at handling these monsters. Some great steaks and a little Rye and water made for a great day.     Wow. Those aren’t steaks. They’re roasts! 🤣. But seriously, those are amazing hunks of meat. And done perfectly. So hard with a steak that thick. The work of a true pitmaster.
