Jerky
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 -1/2 tbs reaper powder
2 tbs hot pepper flakes
1 tbs fresh ground pepper
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs kosher salt
2 tbs liquid smoke
2 tbs Reaper hot sauce
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup low sodium teriyaki sauce
the Reaper powder puts it over the top hot.
That is dried Carolina Reapers ground up.
You can substitute the Reaper sauce with any other hot sauce you like.
I have used eye round and London broil. Both work well.Last edited by Steve B; November 24, 2018, 09:44 AM.

I have a killer one:
4 lbs of flank sliced thin with the grain
1.5 cups warsh yer sister sauce
1.5 cups Moores marinade
1/8 cup honey
Tablespoon of chipotle flakes (can use crushed red pepper)
2 teaspoons of onion powder
Tablespoon black pepper
marinate for 5 hours, then cold smoke for an hour over oak. Dehydrate for 5 hours. If you cant cold smoke, add 2 teaspoons liquid smoke and dehydrate 6 hours.

This looks pretty good. Don't know Moore's marinade and not sure how my sister's bathing habits come in to play. Besides, I have 2 sisters.

Moors can be found at most megamarts in the bbq sauce and marinade. The other, thats redneck for worchestershire sauce. JimLinebarger

Moore's looks like it is a regional item. Walmart has 3 of their products online only. Many of the products are available at Amazon, though. The other, when I lived down south never heard it pronounced that way, but it is more clear than the "right" way. Watched a video on how to pronounce it, and I still can't.

I use the Hey Grill Hey Jalapeno Dr. Pepper recipe.
This Dr. Pepper Jalapeno Beef Jerky recipe is equal parts sweet and spicy and you can adjust the heat to whatever level you prefer.
I think it’s a bit salty so I cut the salt 25% and increase the black pepper. I use jalapeños for some batches but also use serrano’s and xx-hot hatch instead. I use eye of the round sluced across the grain between 1/8th and 1/4 inches thick.
