    Brisket Resurrection's = Bulgogi

    Thank goodness for the lady. She transformed Sunday's brisket disappointment to a tantalizing Tuesday. Lettuce wrapped Korean tacos, Asian slaw and cauliflower fried rice. I learned that similar bbq beef is referred to as Bulgogi. Was a pretty clever use of leftovers.
    (Pairing = rosato + Korean R&B for ambiance - who knew?)

    l'inferno Yum! Your leftover Brisket-turned-Bulgogi feast looks sooooo good. I'd say the lady is a keeper.

          I love Bulgogi! Our former neighbors were from Korea and they cooked a feast for us when we moved (so we could pack up dishes and pots and etc). Best Bulgogi I ever had. I may sacrifice half of the next brisket for Bulgogi next cook! My mouth is watering just thinking of it!

            Overcooked, dry, tough meat works good in slow cooked BBQ beans and chili too. My lovely wife decided to reheat the brisket I cooked last weekend while I was mowing last night. She sent me a text to tell me it was ready (we have discussed the logistics of hearing the phone chirp while mowing several times before, I guess she forgot). An hour later I come in to dehydrated brisket jerky and chewy m&c.
