Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I work all next weekend so can't play, but I did cook steak last night. No good pics really since I wasn't planning to share, but it did happen. I will dedicate last night's 4 NY strips to the cause, albeit early.
Edit: I did snap this shot of my steak and my wife's Parmesan sauce plus oven-roasted cauliflower, rustic mashed gold taters, onions & shrooms.... she wanted me to send this to her cousin, so I snapped it for that purpose but didn't get a steak interior shot. It was medium rare for the most part.
I was JK really, 😂 but I’ll share what I like to do…fried shrimp this way……mix flour and cold water in a thick batter, almost ketchup like. Add lots of Tony’s OR some cayenne pepper, and a little vegetable oil to the batter. Fry em up, it’s almost like a shrimp tempura. The golden crust it makes is awesome!
She's European Huskee so she speaks 4 or 5 languages! I grew up with a lot of Mexican families and all of their dogs were bilingual. They all knew "Shut the hell up" in Spanish and English!
She Huskee speaks Norwegian, English, German and the universal dog language. In addition, she is an expert in body language..and ofcourse non-verbal speech and signs.

Fuels Used:
Splits/Chunks, whatever I can get. Usually B&B competition. Favorites are Cherry, Apple, Post Oak, and Hickory.
Pellets, Lumberjack.
Charcoal, whatever is on sale. Currently have a bunch of KBB. Will eventually try B&B. Use whatever lump is on sale in my Ooni.
Propane, Blue Rhino.
Rubs:
Usually make my own riff’s on Memphis Dust and BBBR. Also use Meathead’s commercial rubs and occasionally try something new. I like a couple from Tuffy Stone and Kinder’s. After several surgeries, I’m very sensitive to “spicy” stuff, so I need to be careful about heat levels.
