Bout this time, I got after brownin up 1 lb~ ground chuck...(lotta stuff all goin on at th same time )
As if I didn't have enough goin on, I took advantage of this moment to chop up 1+ lb of brisky previously pulled from th freezer a few days back... Tip: kitchen shears make quick work of brisky, an bacon slices...
Once it was all chopped up, I unceremoniously plopped* it in with th bison, an veggies.
*Note: Plop is a proper cookin term, same as glug, an scootch! Leastways, hereabouts, they is...

Plop is not to be confused with blop, which is what gravy or other thick liquid does when it reaches a boil. I think it comes from the Spanish verb blopear. I assume that there is also a verb plopear, but I'm not enough of a linguist to know.
Blop is, decidely, a proper cookin term, Amigo...
Th way I learned to turn up / down gravy, sauces, etc., was by BPM, ie.: "Blops Per Minute"!!!
Still do, to this very dang day
Yer absotively, posilutely right, Brother, an I do apologize!!!!
I need to focus, read up a whole bunch, an learn to make some real beans!!!!
Outta liquor? WTH?
Heard of it, but I sure as Hail didn't serve two tours of combat to have that carp ever happen, in my beloved US; that there is jus pure dee Un-Murrican! lol

Long bout this time, th chuckie was sufficiently browned off, an I added it to my half pan o goodness...(I didn't want it to git any more blurry )
Now it's startin to look more like "Proper Stuff", as Big Smo sez!
Reckon if a feller absolutely jus had to, he could eat this, as is...I certainly did! It was comin together, tastin dang dang good, but summat was missin, an what it was, was eludin me...

List of what I didn't put into my beans is now, finally complete.
It took up an inoordinate amount of my time, but I consider it well worth th efforts, fer th results, so here it is:
Mr. Bones 1st of all, thank you most kindly for your service. 2nd let me thank you once again for your service! 3rd I envy the folks that are so privileged to indulge in your 120 proof beans and a very merry Christmas to you. Btw, thank you for your service!
After some brainstormin, (owww) an tastin, I was able to determine what it was, that it was missin:some BEANS!
First stir pics: ~30 mins~
Yup, I was on th right trail, yall:!
After a quick stirrin, it already tasted way more' bean-y!'
Second stir... ~60 mins~
Was comin togerther well, tastin mighty fine, but wasn't quite where I wanted em, so I left em go yet another round...

Come long bout another half hour, I decided it was time to git my happy arse into bed, so I broke down, an wrapped, to help em through th Dreaded Stall!
Note: With beans, ya turn em DOWN, at this point, decidedly not UP!
So, one more stir, an oven set down to 170°...
G' Night, John Boy... Dang near fit to be called "Food", yall!
Let's see what th mornin brings...

I was going to suggest adding some back strap molasses maybe some ancho or chipolte chili powder unless you got enough heat from the peppers. If you got enough heat maybe some brown sugar and some ketchup to offset the heat a bit? Ya gotta grind in some fresh cracked black pepper! I like what I'm seeing there Mr. Bones!
I like to add a handful of pulled pork but I'd say you got your proteins covered and good choice on the bison nice and lean. I buy bison roast to use in my chili now and again.

That there feller is Matt. I was totally cool with letttin him stay up all night, tendin his stickburner, while I got some much needed Beauty Sleep!
When I (reluctantly) walked in / clocked in, Friday AM, th aroma of a good meal to come immediately assailed my olfactory passages, causin sorta a droolin thing to occur...
To put things in perspective, our shop buildin has ~ 30' high ceilings, an is absolutely cavernous...walkin, first thing, into a cloud of BBQ aroma first thing in th mornin assured me that Friday was gonna be Otay!

Guessin right bout here would be a timely place to mention that, among other things, I keeps me some fresh tortillas stashed in my desk, at work... After all, one never knows, do one?
So, guess who had multiple, freshly pulled, pork butt tacos fer breakfast, this Friday, last? + Some homemade nanner nut bread, an cherry, then chocolate glazed donuts...
Right Back Atcha, with all th Merry Merry thing!
Wish ya had a been here, as well...mebbe next year, or sooner!!!???
Makin food has no real meanin, without somebody to enjoy it with...

So, due to my mad skillz at delegatin, powers of suggestion, an ability to skillfully evade direct questionin, Matt volunteered to cook our main proteins!
He's a Bama bred bbq guy, so I knew I could implicitly trust in his cue abilities. Bonus is, I got to sleep, some...

Matt stayed up all night, fightin his stickburner in our prevailin 25-30 mph winds, to make these phenomenal pork butts...(I tossed in a 9.8 lber )
He showed up to work in sweatpants, (Supervisor), an I artfully evaded mannin th 22.5 Weber (DD) I transported to work... busy, an all that, ya know...
So Matt, an Brother Alan cooked up alla th chicken legs on DeeDee, since I was 'otherwise engaged'...
DeeDee made her first public debut, cookin fer this lot...I am of th opinion that DeeDee will reside at my present workplace, fer th immediate future...*
If I'm gone, in late JAN, as they have recently foretold us of, well, then, DeeDee goes with me, dang it!
*Gives me some room to hit up CL, again
Edit>> DeeDee came home,with me, yesterday...(08MAR19)
She had intimated that she was Homesick, multiple times, so here she'll be, at FBB, until we all go walkabout, again...
