Plop is not to be confused with blop, which is what gravy or other thick liquid does when it reaches a boil. I think it comes from the Spanish verb blopear. I assume that there is also a verb plopear, but I'm not enough of a linguist to know.

Blop is, decidely, a proper cookin term, Amigo...
Th way I learned to turn up / down gravy, sauces, etc., was by BPM, ie.: "Blops Per Minute"!!!
Still do, to this very dang day

Come long bout another half hour, I decided it was time to git my happy arse into bed, so I broke down, an wrapped, to help em through th Dreaded Stall!
Note: With beans, ya turn em DOWN, at this point, decidedly not UP!
So, one more stir, an oven set down to 170°...

I was going to suggest adding some back strap molasses maybe some ancho or chipolte chili powder unless you got enough heat from the peppers. If you got enough heat maybe some brown sugar and some ketchup to offset the heat a bit? Ya gotta grind in some fresh cracked black pepper! I like what I'm seeing there Mr. Bones!

I like to add a handful of pulled pork but I'd say you got your proteins covered and good choice on the bison nice and lean. I buy bison roast to use in my chili now and again.

More on th heat, below, Brother...

They got more than enough brown sugar, an molasses flavour, outta th can...

If I was doin em from dry, those'd be major necessities, to make a proper batch...

When I (reluctantly) walked in / clocked in, Friday AM, th aroma of a good meal to come immediately assailed my olfactory passages, causin sorta a droolin thing to occur...

So, guess who had multiple, freshly pulled, pork butt tacos fer breakfast, this Friday, last? + Some homemade nanner nut bread, an cherry, then chocolate glazed donuts...

Guess I kinda went offa my Diet Plan, lol!

Matt stayed up all night, fightin his stickburner in our prevailin 25-30 mph winds, to make these phenomenal pork butts...(I tossed in a 9.8 lber )

He showed up to work in sweatpants, (Supervisor), an I artfully evaded mannin th 22.5 Weber (DD) I transported to work... busy, an all that, ya know...

So Matt, an Brother Alan cooked up alla th chicken legs on DeeDee, since I was 'otherwise engaged'...

DeeDee made her first public debut, cookin fer this lot...I am of th opinion that DeeDee will reside at my present workplace, fer th immediate future...*

If I'm gone, in late JAN, as they have recently foretold us of, well, then, DeeDee goes with me, dang it!

*Gives me some room to hit up CL, again

          Edit>> DeeDee came home,with me, yesterday...(08MAR19)

She had intimated that she was Homesick, multiple times, so here she'll be, at FBB, until we all go walkabout, again...
