    My book is now available

    Hi all,

I received a shipment of books today from the printer's. I have written a bbq cook book. It is an incredible feeling, holding your very own book in your hands. As everyone who has ever written a book knows it is a lot of work.

In this case it is a DIY project gone extreme. I started by writing an advanced camera app for my mobile phone, with photoshop style image processing filters for blending, masking et.c. The reason for that was to simplify the workflow by not having to do any post-processing on a computer, at all. If the photo was good, it went into the book. I then created the recipes, cooked the food and photographed everything with the mobile phone. I then figured out Adobe Indesign and did the layout and illustrations. I really really wish I knew a good photographer, illustrator et.c. to help me, but I didn't, and I was adamant about finishing, so there was no other way than simply 'go to work'.

Here are some photos. I did celebrate by going to a nice Italian restaurant this evening with my wife. It was really nice (as always) when someone else cooks for you.

    The cover

      Looks great!

I don't speak Swedish but I would love to buy a copy to help propel you to the bestseller list!

Do you plan on offering them for sale via your website or perhaps one of the European Amazon sites?
