Congrats Jimbo! I know you’ve been waiting for this to begin for quite a while. Now comes the hard part, hovering over the workers like a mother hen, making sure it’s done like you want…😂 I’m happy for you and am looking forward to seeing the progress!
I tend to be fairly hands off for the most part. I’ll do most of my inspecting after they leave each day. I have the advantage of working previously with this contractor on a project I managed at our church.

Let the good times roll! Been waiting for this thread for a long time. The anticipation is going to be brutal, but the final results will be worth the wait. I just might have to take a pilgrimage from Neptune to Gainesville to see this 8th wonder of the world you have planned.
Yes. We host my wife’s students a couple of times a year as well as various dinners for other groups relating to her job. We tend to host at least one large bbq gathering a year for the church, and as the grandbabies grow I’m thinking there will be times we host youth groups.

Looking GRReat Jim! Don't forget the might as well factor now!, getting rid of that OOh! should have factor later. Thoughts, in floor outlet at table, extra romax at ceiling light for later, then that extra conduit under the concrete to the furthers reach outside wall for later, extra power, gas, or water lines. Looking forward for the finish,
Best of Luck!
Yes. We will put in conduit for gas for sure. Griddle will run on a small tank at first. In a few years, we will bury a large propane tank (no natural gas in our subdivision) to run a whole house backup generator.
