I put together and seasoned my new griddle yesterday.
Tonight for dinner, I made smash burgers (grilled buns, onions and bacon) and smashed potatoes. I'm going to have to get creative with the smaller griddle to keep food warm in MN winters - maybe utilizing a warmed cooler?. I can see why it would be handy to have a bigger griddle space with a rack to keep food warm. 🙃
I think I could have smashed the burgers a little thinner, and I could have crisped the potatoes more, but the family enjoyed my first attempt. ☺️
We're going to make steaks later this week. 😋

Griddle cook #3 (hubs made steaks last Wed😋) with my new win!
I made Chicken Alfredo. I learned from last time. I had a bowl with hot water standing by inside to keep my chicken warm.
My outside cooking station is off my basement walk out, so I have to be strategic and DEFINITELY have my mise en place in place! Tonight, I had my water par boiled for the noodles, sauce started (just had to turn on the burner and add the cream and cheese). Toaster oven downstairs warmed the bread while I griddled.
I even got the griddle clean quick before I brought the chicken upstairs to finish everything. Learning!
The sauce was a new recipe and was a little meh..I added the juice from the chicken and it punched the flavor without discoloring it too much.
Loving my new toy! Thanks for the win and the love!
