First, I want to thank you for all the congratulations, well wishes, and best thoughts contributing to my decision. At times I was hoping there would be something like a Panera Bread pick two. If not getting both cookers at least the best of both of them. I also, feel like choosing one cooker is letting down those who supported the other.

Secondly, if you think you will never win please note that with the redraws, and the addition of the fourth prize I think I was 0 for 500. Somebody is going to win. Why not you?

Both of the cookers received the Platinum rating, so either one is going to be a good choice. So, Huskee I choose the Weber Searwood 600XL Pellet Grill. I like the “set it and forget it” of my Big Green Egg, so that along with the ability to stay indoors and make adjustments were the tipping points. I’ll miss not having the ability to easily raise and lower the grate of the Hasty Bake. In past drawings the decision would have been an easy one like when The Good One Open Range or the SNL Kamado was available. This was a tough one, but I am glad the decision is behind me. I’ll post some pics of the cooker and what I cook.

So, Huskee what do I need to do next? Will it arrive for Christmas? LOL That would be nice.

Thanks for asking. I have completed therapy, but still have some at home and gym exercises. The knee still needs to be strengthened, but I can climb stairs now and the only pain I have is what they call start up which is the 1st ten steps. That is supposed to go away with time. You and pasmom have a great thanksgiving. I trust all is going well with your infusions. Irene’s continue to go well.

LA Pork Butt - I can speak from experience, it comes in a very big and heavy box. That is an excellent choice I have really enjoyed mine, even though I haven't really put it through its paces yet...
