This answer goes for both the first and second place selections:
The dollar value makes no difference to me. My thought process is I would pick something that gives me a totally new or at least very different cooking experience than I can get right now. I have a kamado, Smokey Joe and a griddle, and I’m not interested in a gasser at the moment so that narrows it down pretty quickly. And every time I say that the PK gives me those sad "how could you do this to me" puppy dog eyes and makes me question it all over again.

The SNS Kamado …. I’ve already got a Hasty-Bake and I’m not interested in a gasser or pellet pooper. Out of the two Kamado’s, I think I’d rather go with the SNS.

I voted Hasty Bake. I already have a pellet smoker and a gas grill. A charcoal grill would be a nice addition.

I voted Blaze 3 Burner Gas grill because I do like the convenience of those. It looks like a really good quality grill. I already have a pellet grill. I do like the results from charcoal, but don't want to mess involved, and the price of charcoal is getting out of hand.

I love my 4 burner model. I have many charcoal grills but I use the Blaze frequently especially in the winter and on weeknights.

I voted, but this is cruel.

Yes it is, for obvious reasons. It’s like playing along with Let’s Make a Deal, picking the right door, but not seeing a car in your driveway!

I chose the PK. I have always wanted to use one.

              Hands down the SnS Kamado.

I went with SNS kettle just because of it's readiness for mods (don't have to drill a hole for a fan, etc.). Again, I'd probably ask to gift my selection to someone who is more in need. I got enough cookers with mods that already cover what the prize options offer.

                  Price doesn’t matter.

I voted PK360 as it is an unique design that frankly I’d never buy for myself as it is probably overpriced for what it is. Still I would love to use it. Everyone raves about it and it would last forever.

                  No need for gassers.

The SNS beats out the Broil King Keg for kamados. I wouldn’t pick it though because I already have a kamado (Akorn) and would more than likely upgrade it to another kamado eventually. The PK360 would be an experience I’d never have otherwise so I’d pick it instead.

The GMG is not on my short list of pellet smokers that I’d own and I feel more inclined to stick with charcoal for now. Frankly, the Akorn is so effortless to use and efficient I see even less need for a expensive pellet cooker. It also works well in cold weather. I think that speaks highly for the kamado design given I own a MB560 which is an controlled temp charcoal cooker.

The Hasty Bake’s reported leakiness would probably be frustrating for me over the long run. I am also less sure about cold weather performance.

The honest truth is that I don’t need anything. The prizes offered at the beginning, the BBQ classes? I coveted those, and wanted to win a seat. If I were to win I would seriously consider passing the prize. I know, crazy, huh?

I’d choose the Blaze gasser, but, like Panhead John , I might choose the MHP gasser; I’d need to measure. Gas grills are perfect for one or two hot dogs or hamburgers. And often overlooked is the small cleanup: clean the grates and you’re done, no ashes to fuss with.

Huskee regarding pellets vs gassers: gas grills don’t need an extension cord. Gas grills have no moving parts. Pellet grills definitely fit better for some people, but the same can be said for gas grills and other people. It’s a matter of priorities.

If a high quality griddle was offered, that would be my choice over any gasser.

It was the lack of moving parts and electronics that will all fail that helped swing me from the Grilla Silverbac at the time, to the HB and SNS as my top choices. I then knew enough about the HB to realize it was a bit leaky and requires some tending, pushing me to the SNS as the most hands off charcoal offering. Oh - and my wife and daughter said the SNSK was "prettier", haha.

Fully agreed on a high quality griddle being a nice option in the top prize spot.

You're right. Cords and the chance of a part going bad, and once in a while ash cleanout. But the food on your plate- hot dog, burger, veggies- the taste is better and easier to use. Pros & cons.

Huskee I would ditch my gasser and replace it with a griddle in a second. The only things I use the gasser for are things that would griddle even better. But the gasser was free.

If the Grilla OG or KBQ came back, now that would definitely complicate matters. Or even BBQ classes or camps? Can I go to scottranda ‘s camp please!

I chose the HB. I like the indirect cooking ability and large area. I would also consider the sns and kamado in that order.

Huskee You know what would make another great poll? What would be your "dream" first and second place prizes, if offered. Disregard what is actually being offered now and let us pick. Just a thought.

That might give the impression to some that we are scouting products to offer and that most likely wouldn't be the case. But it would be fun to dream and to see everyone's picks.

Can I do it? Letting people know that this is no way will influence anything? If that’s not a good idea, it’s cool and I totally get it.
