    My wife is Mexican-American. I've been enough of my wife's family get togethers to know that it's not uncommon to make big batches of the layered variety. Rolling is great if you only making a few, but it's too much work for a large quantity.

        I like Cavender's. It's a great grill seasoning, especially for lamb or chicken.

          I have on Oxo carbon steel grill skillet. Love veggies cooked in it. Hell, I love everything about that pan.

              We love that seasoning and use it a lot on pork chops but I’d have never thought to use that as a rub on ribs. I gotta try this out

                Among the many goodies in the Secret Santa bounty from Porter Road that I received from Dadof3Illinois was a pound of Beef vs Bacon, which is a 50/50 blend of dry aged lean beef and pork belly bacon. I thawed this today for some burgers cooked on the LSG Adjustable.

                The bacon smell was definitely there as these beauties cooked up.

                      I read about this, and I thought it was just stupid enough for me to try it. It’s called a pasta pizza, where you make a pizza, but with a pasta crust.



                      Mrs Mosca can’t eat tomato sauce, so I made it with Alfredo sauce, mushrooms, spinach, and fresh mozzarella on top (regular mozzarella below like in the video). I used some garlic, and Italian seasoning blend as well.

                      I have to say, it is delicious, but a serious pain in the ass. I could have had spaghetti dinner on the table in about 1/3 the time, with about 1/3 the mess and cleanup… heck, I probably could have put a pizza on the table in about 1/3 the time. Fun, inventive, delicious, not worth the trouble.

                          Love seeing those Minnesota shrimp 🍤!

                        Wife's birthday so she got scallops, angel hair pasta and asparagus in a lemon brown butter sauce. Kids got chili cheese dogs, and I had rice noodles in a chili lemon vegetable stock with scallops. They had cheesecake for dessert.
