I’m with you! Since I got my griddle I only cook smashed burgers. They’re just better. Yeah, and quick!! Love ‘em. More importantly, that looks DELICIOUS.

This most likely will be my first and last anything with this ground chicken. It was like paste. Don’t get me wrong, Pasturebird Chicken is a phenomenal product. But ground is just not my jams. I did the Tsukune recipe shared on the ground chicken thread I started a few days ago. Epic fail. Recipes fault? No…. justonecookbook is awesome. I followed the recipe perfectly (even found shiso leaves!) with two exceptions: the ground chicken and the skewers. In hindsight, the chicken had to have been all white meat. Recipe called for half white and half dark. I did not have wooden skewers, I tried with my metal ones. The farce would not stay put. I pivoted and made patties. Glaze was delicious. I’m thinking the leftover glaze for wings! Steam rice and cucumbers (not shown).

I took one bite and looked like a dog who just got a healthy schmear of peanut butter!

It looks great! I’m curious, I’ve never used ground chicken but I do use ground turkey often, probably more than ground beef (in all we don’t use ground often). Do yo have a comparison of the chicken to turkey? If you liked the recipe, would turkey be better, or still disappoint?
