Love fat tire. Love Firestone 805. We also enjoy pretty much anything from Lagunitas. When we travel, we try to stick to local stuff that I can’t get here. So, when in NOLA, it’s Abita. When in Dallas, it’s Lone Star. Right now in the fridge, we have a sampler pack from New Belgium. They have a white IPA that’s delicious!

Oh man. So many good ones! I guess Bourbon County Brand Stout is my technical favorite. I really love a good Hazy IPA like King Sue by Toppling Goliath, too.

Just curious if anyone knows what happened to Lowenbrau. I'm sure I hosed the spelling, but back in the 80s that was advertised as a high end beer. It had a lion symbol and gold foil wrap around the cap. I remember as a teen splurging on it one time...and that's all I remember...

Miller (Phillip Morris) bought them did you like the light or dark?
-
Yeah, they kinda fell off the map after the InBev merger. I’m not sure that it’s even imported these days. I really liked their Dunkel & Triumphator. Most of the beer imported to the US was nothing like the German beers...Miller made all sorts of changes when the got the US rights. (Long before the InBev merger.)
Spaten is similar and still imported. They merged with Lowenbrau (amongst others) before the InBev takeover. It might be worth checking out if you’re looking for a German style lager.
-
A better choice, IMO, would be Paulaner Original Munich Lager. Closer to a better Munich lager than many of the "exports"...
That said...I still prefer darker varieties...
Dunkle märzen, bock, dopplebock, or schwarzbier. The last being my fave.

Well, this is pretty good. I may be biased, but If I didn't like it I wouldn't make it.*
But, really, probably my all time favorite, if it's on tap I will order it beer:
I've been drinking this since Vinny was making it in plastic fermenters on his parents' vineyard in Temecula. Luckily we get it as a guest beer at work on the reg.
Based on pure volume consumed it's gotta be either Miller High Life or Tecate. Probably High Life.
*Not entirely true, more like "if I didn't like it I wouldn't make it until my boss gets annoying enough that I make whatever it is so I can get him to shut the hell up and stop bothering me".

Current line-up of cookers: Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Pro, Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050, Blackstone ProSeries 4 Burner 36" griddle, Weber Performer Deluxe and Weber Smokey Joe.
Big fan of Shiner Bock, and also their Holiday Cheer and Prickly Pear varieties. I'm not a beer snob at all, so there is usually some Coors Light in the garage fridge also.

My favorite beer is Free Beer (whatever you're buying). I also like Cold Beer.
My other favorite beers -
Revolver Blood and Honey is one of my all time favorites.
I really like the Lone Star Rio Jade.
When it's hot and humid - like Houston in August - there isn't much better than a Lawnmower
Eureka Heights Buckle Bunny is a staple.
Shiners -- Bock, Light, and Premium are all pretty solid.
But I mostly keep Coors (yella jackets) in the fridge for day to day.
We drink Lone Star in the camo cans when we're alligator hunting.
In college my go to was Schaffer bc I could get a case for $6 and no one else would steal it out of the cooler. It still has a special place in my heart.
Any Belgian double or triple!!
I've never said "no" to a Guinness.... .although I'm still waiting on my free bar towel they promised me in '98.
I guess the short answer is that "I don't like beer".
OH!!! And Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan!! Liked that well enough that when I couldn't buy it in Texas, I figured out how to brew something pretty close.
And when I'm in Seward Alaska I drink Olympia - to keep from getting my butt kicked by the locals. Although that was only 1 time......
