I’m sick of carting my PBC down to our river house bc I like using it up in Jersey City. And, the old gasser sux - haven’t really used it in 3-4 years. It could be salvaged but it doesn’t inspire me so I decided to get a new cooker. Wanted a versatile cooker like my Primo XL but that’s too much for a seasonal cooker. I’ve never cooked on a Weber kettle, so was looking at that but decided instead to indulge myself with the Weber Summit Kamado E6.
Arrives Saturday morning before the drive. I’ll put it together then cook Sunday and Monday. Woohoo!!!
fzxdoc I’m pretty sure you have one of these. Did you ever make a super helpful thread like you did w the PBC on how to set up and cook on the E6? That PBC thread saved me months of aggravation.
First hoovarmin goes and buys him a new offset smoker, then you go and buy this fancy schmancy Weber and neither one of y’all cleared it with The Pit first?! What’s going on here?!?! Y’all know you’re supposed to ask us for advice on what to buy first…followed by a week of back and forth, arguing among ourselves what’s best for you!… What the hell!?
