We were blessed with an early spring in southeast Texas so we got a bunch of stuff in the ground. Mainly basil, rosemary, sage and attempting cilantro (again I keep failing). Also tomatoes, potatoes and a variety of squashes and veggies.

Yeah, I gave up on cilantro. If I need it, I’ll buy a bunch in the store and freeze what I don’t use.

Ok Mosca I had no idea you could freeze cilantro. I buy it and use a little, then have to throw 3/4 of it away. How do you freeze it?

I pretty much just wrap it in plastic wrap and freeze it. I use both the stems and the leaves, so I cut off what I need and put it back.

Mosca how’s the herb garden. Mine has taken off. Got all the herbs I need plus extra to share with neighbors and friends.

It’s gone crazy, everything except the basil for some reason. And that’s strange, because last year the basil was out of control, like shrubs almost. It’s late, I’ll try to grab a snap tomorrow morning.
