    Tails up for shrimp

Do you flip the shrimp tails up towards the end of the cook? After cooking shrimp on each side, my rationale is to cook the meatier part of the shrimp only, so I stand it up with the tails up.

Anyone else do this? Did I just start a movement?

No, just a quick sear on each side so they won't overcook.
    They do look though 👌🏻

Haha. I don't think I am that careful with individual shrimp placement. I just toss them around with a spatula on the grill or griddle or wok. I don't move them around individually, unless it is obvious one has not gotten any color on one side or the other.

I’m with the others. Just one side then the other. I’d think they might overcook a little by doing them tails up after cooking them on the sides.

Those shrimp do look good. I grill on the sides only, it doesn't take long to cook them and it's easy to over cook em.

Is that your version of Surf and Turf?

Only if they are all beef dogs.

Shrimp for wife and I. And my 8 year old always wants me to throw on some dogs. Relax y’all 😆

I skewer them, so that would be a no.

I toss em in a grill basket and stir once in a while until done :-)

I skewer shrimp and cook 1-2 minutes per side on high heat.

Or, par boil for 2-3 minutes and chill on ice. Break out the cajun cocktail sauce!

Ok. So it appears I did NOT start a movement. Thanks for not skewering me too much 😜

I like your method and I think you should stick to it. Sometimes it just takes a while for the right way to catch on! B

I put shrimp on double skewers to make them easy to flip. So their tails are pretty much extended.

agree, double skewers on shrimp so they “all” turn over!

Also do the double skewers and then on with the vortex.

Looks cool, but like others, I'm not that patient.

Shrimp that looks that good wouldn't even make it to the plate! But no, I don't do that either

Nope ... just grill (or broil) on one side, then the other. Those do look mighty good, though ...
