Thanks, SmokeyGator for bringing this topic back up. I missed it completely because I was AWOL from the Pit for a couple of weeks at that time due to a big family visit at our house.
What an incredibly generous offer, Henrik . Thank you. Now I won't have to hoard the last bottle or two of your rubs. I'm off to follow your link for the recipes.
I like your business model: choose the one thing you love doing best and do it well. May your business boom even more than it already has.

This is very generous of you. Thank youOriginally posted by Henrik View PostHi all!
I've manufactured and sold my (Hank's True BBQ) rubs for a few years now. They've gotten great reviews (thank you!), and I've sold them in the US, UK and Sweden. As of lately I've stopped selling in the US and UK due to shipping/toll/amazon fees making it unprofitable. It's just not worth it.
I'm very grateful for the support and love I'm getting with respect to my rubs here in the Pitmaster Club. Thank you all for that, and for purchasing my rubs. You guys and gals are the best!
However, the times they are a-changin', and I am re-organizing my business a bit. Basically slimming down to focus on one thing: my offset smokers.
For that reason I've decided to publish the recipes for my rubs on my website so anyone can make their own. As stated on the page, it is my intellectual property and I grant anyone permission to mix and use for non-commercial use. Reprinting requires approval. I ask you to please respect this and just use this link to distribute to anyone who might be interested. Here it is:
hankstruebbq.com/hanks-rubs/
All measurements are metric, and I've provided amounts for small batch and a large batch for all three rubs. Let me know if you have questions. I've spent a lot of time tweaking and fine tuning the recipes to a point where I'm proud to put my name on them. I hope you like them too. No go mix 'em up and smoke some meat!
Hank
PS
When it comes to coffee, I use ground filter coffee. The particular brand I use in Sweden is Zoegas Hazienda, which is a dark roasted coffee full of flavor. I don't know what's available in the US, but skip the 'light' stuff and go for the full flavored good coffee. Or grind your own if you already have the grinder and beans you like at home.
